Luxury 4 Bedroom holiday cottage in Ambleside.
Waterhead Cottage is a very attractive Victorian property, built in the traditional manner in local stone and slate and is located just a couple of yards from the steamer pier at Waterhead where the passenger ferry gives pedestrian access to various ports of call around the Lake Windermere. Ambleside Village is only a short walk away, making this an ideal holiday cottage suitable for couples or families alike. Waterhead Pier has various shops and bistros and cafes if you prefer to stay close to the accommodation.
The cottage sleeps 6-8 people comfortably, and is decorated to a very high standard yet still retains many of its original features. The cottage has its own designated car space at the rear, and although this means the cottage has no outside space, the pier being only 4 doors down the road more than compensates for this.

The cottage is on 3 floors and on the lowest floor is where the spacious lounge and dining area is located with TV, stereo, Wii games, and sky TV, there is also a traditional log burner for cosy nights in.
Next to the lounge is a fully equipped bespoke kitchen, with gas cooker and hob, washer/dryer, fridge/freezer, and microwave.
On the middle floor there is a luxurious shower room with WC and wash hand basin tiled in mosaic natural stone. Next to this is a lovely twin-bedded room, suitable for 2 adults or a children’s bedroom. Also on this floor is a spacious and bright double bedroom, with a romantic king size canopy bed and bespoke furniture.
On the top floor is the master bedroom decorated in soft blues and cranberry and is en suite, with a spacious shower, WC and wash hand basin. Next to this room is a very romantic double room which is decorated in soft romantic colours, and has a walk in closet.
The change over day for this cottage is a Saturday during Spring/Summer months, changing to a Friday for the Autumn/Winter months to accommodate weekend short breaks. All linen and towels are provided as are cots and high chairs at no extra cost. Dogs are most welcome if supervised.
Please note there is a damage deposit of £100 to be paid with the balance of the rental fee, which will be refunded 7 days after your departure if no damages are reported.
Prices start from £800-£995.00 per week.
