Growler Cottage is a traditional slate 2 bedroom cottage, located in the heart of Bowness village. It has been recently refurbished to a very high standard, and is only a 5 minute stroll to the shores of Lake Windermere.
The cottage offers superb accommodation for up to four people and consists of a spacious double bedroom with feature fireplace, and a lovely, light and airy twin bedroom with original sash windows. The cottage also offers a new luxurious bathroom with Victorian bath with overhead shower.
Growler Cottage has a spacious lounge on the ground floor with French doors leading out onto a sunny compact, decked patio. The lounge has a living flame gas fire and very comfortable seating for cosy nights in after a day’s walking on the fells. The lounge leads into a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher and microwave and all modern conveniences.

There is a small breakfast room at the rear with extra dining facilities and washing facilities. To the front of the cottage is a dining room with feature fireplace and original windows which add that all important character.
Growler cottage offers a perfect retreat for a romantic break or for a family holiday, as it is in easy walking distance of all the restaurants and attractions that Bowness Village has to offer.
The lake is only a short distance away with scenic walks, ideal for walking your dog, whilst taking in the stunning views. The cottage also offers free internet access.
