Booking Conditions
For all Rawcliffe Leisure Properties
Confirmation of Booking
After having confirmation of availability for the dates you require, we will hold your dates for 3 working days, within which you must return to us the booking form, and a cheque for the deposit of £100.00, made out to Lynn Rawcliffe, the address can be found on the top of the booking form.
For properties overseas the deposit is 50% of the total rental fee.
If you are booking within 8 weeks of your arrival date, then we will require the full rental amount. You will be sent a receipt by e-mail for the deposit, and on receipt of the balance we will e-mail all the details, which will include directions to the property, and details of the key collection.
Cancellations.
If you find you will need to cancel, we will try to re-let the property you have booked, if we are unsuccessful, then, unfortunately we will have to charge the full rate. If we re-let the property, then we will issue a full refund.
Clients Responsibilities
The booking contact is responsible for the property they have booked, which includes keeping the interior of the property in a good condition. Please notify us immediately of any breakages. For our properties overseas we charge a damage bond of 200 euros, this is payable locally, and is refunded the day of your departure, if no damages have been reported. For the cottages there is a damage deposit of £100, which can be paid with the balance as a seperate cheque, and will be refunded 7 days after your departure if no damages have occurred.
Please note, the party must not exceed the number of people listed on the booking form.
Dogs,
We allow dogs in all our cottages, however, please supervise your dogs at all times, and please do not allow them to lie on the sofas, or beds. This is out of respect for future guests, and any damages due to pets will be charged extra.
Arrival instructions
All properties are available from 3.00pm onwards, unless agreed otherwise.
Departure time is 10.00am.
For properties overseas, we can arrange for airport transfers via our local agents, however, we will not be responsible for any mistakes made by those agents. Therefore we strongly advise that you contact the local agent the week before your arrival for confirmation direct from them. Agents contact details will be given to all customers.
Liability
We cannot accept liability for personal injury, or for personal property whilst staying at any of our properties.
Please note;
Bulgaria is presently experiencing a property building boom, and as a result some areas are not yet connected to the mains water supply and are run on individual tanking systems. The site developers are responsible for keeping these systems working efficiently, and also for the maintanence of the pumps that get the water to all the villas on site. Occasionally the pumps break down, resulting in all villas not having a water supply. When this happens the developers usually manage to fix the problem quickly, and the water supply is reinstated. As owners, we are charged a high fee for this system to be maintained, however, as it is the responsibility of the developer, as owners, we are not responsible for the supply of water, as it is a local issue that is out of our control.
